Introducing Array Insights – New Look, Same Goal: Advance Clinical Research and Prioritize Patient Privacy and Data Security
From Anne Kim, Co-Founder and CEO of Array Insights
We’re thrilled to announce Array Insights!
Patient data drives clinical advancements. For the medical industry to access valuable patient data sets, secure and privacy-preserving methods to link researchers are necessary.
Over the past few years, we have been committed to advancing encryption technology and enabling secure data collaboration. We have worked extensively with patient advocacy groups, clinical researchers, and hospitals to help them control, track, and trace patient data in a secure manner, and enable research at an accelerated pace with more representative data.
As we continue to innovate and expand our solution, we felt it was time for a brand refresh that better aligned with our mission and values. Our new name, Array Insights, reflects our focus on developing advanced algorithms and analytics that drive businesses forward while upholding the highest standards of data privacy and security.
The Array Insights Mission
Our mission and vision has always been to help save lives and improve health outcomes by promoting representative research that helps every disease and demographic.
We think the best way to do this is to connect the right parties and provide them with invaluable patient data that is more representative and goes past what is available solely through data available from traditional clinical studies and trials.
But to do this, it must be done with the patient’s privacy and data security at the core.
Using secure and privacy-preserving techniques, Array Insights leverages machine learning and analytics to analyze federated data. This enables clinical researchers to conduct queries on patient data sets safely and ensure that information is protected from unauthorized access. Our technology guarantees that all data is kept isolated, and any usage is loggable and auditable, preventing copying, pasting, emailing, forwarding, downloading or storing on unauthorized servers.
The Array Insights Future
We have so far to go when it comes to medical advancements and achieving new breakthroughs, especially when it comes to rare diseases. But we can never reach these without having the incredibly valuable data that already exists, and is constantly being generated, available and accessible to those who need it and are actively working towards curing these diseases.
For this to be possible, the medical community must collectively place the emphasis on the population at large and the privacy of all of the members that make up this population. We must make sure we are taking the precautionary measures and steps necessary to keep patient’s personal information safe and secure, while leveraging this data in an ethical way that can accelerate disease-ending insights.
Of course, this can’t be done overnight, but we are committed to helping patient advocacy groups, hospitals, and clinical researchers make these connections and implement the systems that enable these breakthroughs.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in our organization. We are excited for this new chapter as Array Insights and look forward to serving you even better.
